Our Story
The genesis of Viking 6 Tactical traces back to the call sign of George Rodriguez during his tenure as a Company Commander in Iraq - Viking 6, where "Viking" was the Company Call -Sign and '6' symbolized his commanding position. George's journey embodies a steadfast commitment to service and education, spanning years in the National Guard as an instructor, training future NATO partners across various domains. Upon retiring from the Vermont State Police, George founded Viking 6 Tactical with a vision to equip individuals for an uncertain future. He commenced by offering preparedness classes while continuing to impart drug recognition and education seminars across Vermont. However, upon relocating to Florida, aspirations to expand the company were momentarily halted by the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Nevertheless, the core ethos of Viking 6 Tactical remains unwavering - empowering individuals to take charge of their own safety and protection. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, we remain resolute in our mission. As we settle into our new home in Florida, we eagerly anticipate resuming and expanding our services. Looking ahead, Viking 6 Tactical envisions incorporating virtual and simulated training scenarios to augment our offerings, ensuring our clients receive the most comprehensive and immersive learning experiences possible. What We Do at Viking 6 Tactical
Viking 6 Tactical delivers professional firearms, medical, and operational training to civilians and law enforcement in Florida and New England. We offer courses in Concealed Carry (CCW), Defensive Pistol and Rifle, Security Team Training, Stop the Bleed, and Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) as well as a variety of other classes.
In addition to training, we provide consulting services in operational planning and drug diversion strategies, drawing from decades of real-world experience in military leadership and law enforcement operations.
Our multi-day classes are based on real-world scenarios and combine military, law enforcement, and civilian perspectives to ensure practical, realistic, and effective training for any level of experience.
