Stop the Bleed (STB) Courses

Viking 6 Tactical — Critical Incident Response Training: Stop the Bleed

You’re in your kitchen, cutting vegetables. The knife slips. Suddenly, blood pours faster than you can stop it. You grab a towel, apply pressure, nothing seems to work. What would you do next?

Or imagine you’re out hunting, hiking, or working in the garage. A fall, a deep cut, a broken limb—seconds turn into chaos. You look around for help, but there’s no one close enough to respond. Now picture this: you’re driving home, and the car in front of you crashes hard. Smoke, shattered glass, multiple injuries. People are screaming for help, but EMS is still minutes away. Who will take action until they arrive?

That’s where Stop the Bleed training comes in.

A person suffering a major arterial bleed can lose consciousness in as little as 45 seconds, and bleed out completely in 3 to 5 minutes. The national average response time for emergency services is over 7 minutes. That means you are the first responder.

At Viking 6 Tactical, our Stop the Bleed courses are designed to give you the confidence, knowledge, and hands-on skills to save a life when every second counts. You’ll learn how to control severe bleeding, apply tourniquets, use compression bandages, pack wounds, apply chest seals, and recognize and manage shock.

This isn’t just training, it’s about protecting the people you care about when help is still minutes away. Whether it’s your family, a friend, or a stranger, you can be the difference between life and death.

Don’t wait until it’s too late.  Train to save a life. Train with Viking 6 Tactical.
