About the event
This intensive 4-hour course takes shooters from essential defensive pistol fundamentals to advanced threat engagement techniques in one focused training session.
You'll start with the critical building blocks: grip, stance, holster draws, and retention skills designed for real-world encounters. Learn how to train effectively at home using dry fire and laser systems.
On the range, you'll develop close-quarters point shooting at 3 meters to 10 meters, master rhythm shooting and Bill Drills for rapid, accurate follow-up shots, and practice shooting until the threat stops, no preplanned round counts.
Advanced drills include multiple target transitions using the "push method," threat identification with balloon-target simulations, and engaging targets at different angles to build real decision-making under stress.
Ideal for CCW holders and anyone serious about practical self-defense, this course will build the confidence, skills, and mindset to respond decisively when it matters most.
